With a First Option card you can access any ATM in Australia. Best of all, First Option does not charge a fee for ATM usage.

Also, many Australian Banks have removed direct charges for using their ATMs. This includes ANZ, Comm Bank, nab, Westpac, Suncorp and BOQ (in branch ATMs only).

While some other ATM owners do charge an ATM fee directly to your account, you will be advised of the fee before you complete your transaction.

You can also use your First Option card overseas, however there is a fee. This fee is waived for members that support First Option with their deposits and loans (combined minimum monthly balance of $25,000).

Important note about RediATMs. 
From 1 June 2018, First Option is no longer part of the RediATM network. Therefore First Option has abolished its RediATM fees. While most bank owned ATMs are now direct charge free, members may incur a direct charge by some rediATM owners. Also, members will no longer be able to change their PINs at a rediATM, or use other rediATM functions such as the transfer option. However the First Option Easy App does allow PIN change.
