Easy App Gen2 is here

First Option launched “Easy App” mobile banking back in June 2015. Since then, thousands of members have registered and use it for their everyday banking.

Over the last few months, the First Option team has been working on a new banking app to keep up with members’ expectations.

How to Register

Current users need to make the switch soon, as Easy App Gen1 will be turned off.

  • Apple/iOS users: Simply update Easy App in the App Store. On first use you must re-register with your Internet Banking (IB) Member Login and NetCode.
  • Android users: Simply update Easy App in Google Play. On first use you must re-register with your IB Member Login and NetCode.
  • New users: If you did not install Gen1, download “First Option Easy App” from the App Store or Google Play. You must also log in to IB at least once before registering.

Features of Easy App Gen2

The new Easy App combines the banking features you love, with loads of new options to give you a much richer experience. Here is a quick summary.

Screen 1

To make navigation easy, the main tiles are spread over 2 screens. Screen 1 includes the key banking features that you use everyday.

  • Account Balances
  • Pay Bills
  • Transfers
  • News Items
  • Notifications
Tip: Double tap the orange square for a Quick Balance. This can be set up in Settings.
Screen 2
Swipe across to screen 2 for loads of new features that give you much greater access to First Option.
  • Set up a Savings Goal
  • First Option Contact Details
  • Calculators
  • Card Management, including change PIN
  • Information section, including FAQs
  • Application forms
  • Online Videos
Tip: Include a photo of your Savings Goal. As you get closer to your goal, your photo becomes more colourful.
Extra Services
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a hamburger menu icon in the top left corner. This gives you access to lots of Extra Services:
  • Interest Details
  • Personal Details
  • Account BSB details
  • Last login details
  • Contact me form
  • Authorisation Requests
Tip: The Account BSB Details also provides a 9 digit reference number for each account. This can be handy when giving your account details to a third party.
Settings
The hamburger menu icon (top left) also takes you to the Settings screen where you can
  • Change your Login Authorisation
  • Customise your Accounts
  • Set your Preferred Balance Type
  • Set your Quick Balance account
  • Edit your Savings Goal
  • Manage your Devices

Tip: Customise each account with your own photos. Include your children, your pet or your favourite holiday destination.
